My coaching career started in 1995 with Marysville Little League. Coaching both fastpitch softball and baseball for my daughters and sons teams for 3 years before staying strictly with Softball. Coaching young ladies is very enjoyable as their dedication to detail is like no other. Their bond on and off the field is awesome to be a part of. In 2001 I started coaching with the Marysville High School JV team and in 2002 with the SnoCo Express Select organization. There is nothing I would change over the past 22 years and have kept in contact with numerous players. It feels great to hear them talk about their playing days, how much fun it was and how they have been able to apply some of what they learned in their adult lives. Coaching the game is only part of it, teaching life lessons through the game of fastpitch softball is just as important as the x’s and o’s on the field.
